Concerts & Shows: Pussycat Dolls PCD Tour Sacramento 2026: Where to Stay
Pussycat Dolls PCD Forever Tour hits Toyota Amphitheatre on June 14, 2026. Stay in West Sacramento — private hot tub, game room, and an easy drive to the venue.
The Pussycat Dolls Are Coming Back — PCD Forever Tour, June 14, 2026
The reunion everybody talked about for years is actually happening. The Pussycat Dolls — Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar, Melody Thornton, and Kimberly Wyatt — are bringing the PCD Forever Tour to Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland on Saturday, June 14, 2026. If you were in college when "Don't Cha" or "Buttons" was everywhere, this is the show you've been waiting for.
We're Ryan and Ashley, your hosts at City of Trees House in West Sacramento. We've been welcoming concert-goers to the Sacramento area for nearly a decade, and summer amphitheater shows are one of the best reasons to plant yourself here for a weekend rather than just day-trip it. A private home base with an easy drive to the venue, and a hot tub ready when you get back at midnight — that's the move.
Toyota Amphitheatre: Sacramento's Summer Concert Venue
Where Is Toyota Amphitheatre?
Toyota Amphitheatre is in Wheatland, CA — about 35 miles north of Sacramento via I-5 or SR-99, roughly a 35–40 minute drive from West Sacramento depending on traffic. It's an outdoor amphitheater that holds approximately 18,500 fans across lawn and reserved seating, and it sits in the northern Sacramento Valley where summer evenings cool off noticeably from the afternoon heat.
It's the premier outdoor concert venue for the greater Sacramento region. Artists who sell out indoor arenas do amphitheater shows here, and the atmosphere is distinctly California summer: warm, loose, and loud. June in the Sacramento Valley runs warm in the afternoons and cools noticeably by 9 or 10 PM — perfect for an outdoor night show like this one.
Getting There from West Sacramento
The drive from City of Trees House to Toyota Amphitheatre is about 35–40 minutes. Take I-5 North or SR-99 North — both routes work, and traffic on a Saturday afternoon is generally light once you're past Sacramento. We recommend leaving about 90 minutes before doors open to park, get settled, and grab a drink before the show starts.
Rideshare from downtown Sacramento to Toyota Amphitheatre typically runs $40–60 each way on concert nights. A lot of guests drive up and rideshare back — a Lyft from Wheatland to West Sacramento on a concert night runs $35–50. It's worth factoring into your planning compared to driving both ways and navigating the exit traffic.
Where to Stay for the Pussycat Dolls Show Near Sacramento
Why City of Trees House Works for a Concert Weekend
Downtown Sacramento hotels on a summer concert night start at $180–250 for a single room — parking charges on top. You share walls, an elevator, and a lobby with everyone else at the show. City of Trees House is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom private home — the entire property, for your group — and it's the kind of place you want to come home to after a night out: private hot tub, backyard, zero strangers in the hallway.
For a Pussycat Dolls reunion show that absolutely demands an after-party, having a private space to land is the right call. The hot tub, the game room, the backyard — all of it is waiting the moment you walk in the door.
What's at City of Trees House
- Private hot tub — Heated to 104 degrees and ready from check-in. Concert night comes home to this: a six-person hot tub in a private fenced backyard with string lights overhead and an outdoor speaker system. You've been on your feet for four hours. This is the correct ending to that night.
- Neon game room — Pool table, retro arcade games (Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat, The Simpsons), ping pong, and darts. Pre-show energy burns off perfectly in here. Settle in, change for the show, play a round of pool, and leave for the amphitheater already feeling like the evening started well.
- Full gourmet kitchen and backyard grill — Saturday afternoon before a concert is prime pre-show dinner time. Our full kitchen (Fellow Aiden coffee maker, Caraway cookware, KitchenAid stand mixer) and 8-burner Mont Alpi grill in the backyard make the pre-show meal something you actually look forward to. Stop at Nugget Markets on your way in — Sacramento's beloved local grocery chain, and the quality is exceptional.
- 3 bedrooms, sleeps up to 10 — Primary king suite, queen bedroom, and a bunk room. For a group coming to the show, everyone under one roof makes the weekend a shared experience instead of separate hotel rooms two floors apart from the conversation.
- Tesla EV charger — Level 2 in the driveway. Bay Area concert-goers making the drive up: arrive with whatever charge you have, plug in overnight, leave Sunday with a full battery and no range anxiety on the way home.
- Private fenced backyard — Fire pit, hammock, outdoor seating, and string lights. Concert nights at City of Trees House follow a consistent pattern: show, drive home, hot tub, fire pit, sleep well. It works every time.
- 7-minute walk to Sutter Health Park — The A's play at Sutter Health Park all summer. If there's a game on Friday or Sunday during your stay, it's an easy walk from the house. Pair the Pussycat Dolls on Saturday with an A's game the next afternoon and you have a genuinely great Sacramento weekend.
PCD Forever Tour: What to Expect
The PCD Forever Tour reunites the complete Pussycat Dolls lineup on stage together for the first time in years. Nicole Scherzinger leads a show built around the catalog that defined the mid-2000s pop landscape: "Don't Cha," "Stickwitu," "Buttons," "Beep," "When I Grow Up," and more. The production is one of the most elaborate the group has mounted.
Toyota Amphitheatre's lawn section fills up fast for major summer shows — doors typically open 90 minutes before the headliner, and the best lawn spots go quickly. Reserved floor and lower reserved seating have different entry timing, but for any Toyota Amphitheatre show, arriving at or just after doors open is the right move if you care about where you end up.
Parking at Toyota Amphitheatre is adjacent to the venue and clearly managed — but it fills up. For a near-sold-out show like a major pop reunion tour, plan to arrive 60–90 minutes before doors.
A Sacramento Weekend Built Around the Show
Friday: Arrive and Settle In
If you can arrive Friday afternoon or evening, do it. Check in, make a Nugget Markets run for the weekend, fire up the hot tub, and get comfortable. Friday night at the house — game room, backyard, fire pit — is the right prelude to a Saturday concert. The Pussycat Dolls show is Saturday, which means Friday is entirely yours.
For dinner out Friday, West Sacramento has excellent options nearby: Drake's: The Barn, five minutes from the house, is West Sacramento's best craft taproom with an enormous outdoor patio and genuinely good IPAs. Or cross Tower Bridge into Midtown Sacramento for restaurants along J Street and the R Street Corridor — some of the best dining in Northern California at a fraction of Bay Area prices.
Saturday Morning and Afternoon: Sacramento Before the Show
The show is Saturday evening, which gives you a full morning and afternoon in Sacramento to explore before doors open.
- Midtown Farmers Market — Every Saturday, 8 AM–1 PM at 20th and J Street. Sacramento's best morning activity: 150+ vendors, live music, exceptional produce and pastries. About 10 minutes from the house.
- Old Sacramento Waterfront — Ten minutes away. The California State Railroad Museum, cobblestone streets, and a riverfront walk along the Sacramento River. A relaxed morning here before a big concert night is exactly right.
- Tower Bridge — Five minutes from the house. Walk out to Sacramento's most iconic landmark on a clear June morning and you'll understand why people keep finding reasons to visit this city. Views of the Sacramento River and the Midtown skyline, the stadium visible just upstream.
- Temple Coffee Roasters — Sacramento's best roaster. An afternoon latte before heading back to the house to change for the show.
Saturday Evening: Pre-Show at the House
Come back to the house by 4:30–5 PM, change, and fire up the grill for a backyard dinner. The game room is calling for one round of pool before you load up and head north. We've done this sequence with enough guests to know it works: pre-show energy at the house, fed and loose and ready, beats arriving at the venue hungry and scrambling for $20 concessions.
Leave the house around 5:30 PM for a 7 PM door time. Doors to the headliner at Toyota Amphitheatre on a summer Saturday night are serious — be there early if you want the lawn spot or the floor position you paid for.
Sunday: Easy Morning Before You Head Home
The hot tub stays warm, the game room doesn't close, and checkout isn't until 11 AM. Sunday morning at City of Trees House after a concert night is one of the better mornings you'll have this summer: coffee from the Fellow Aiden, a slow breakfast in a real kitchen, backyard chairs in the June sunshine, and none of the hotel lobby noise. If there's an A's game at Sutter Health Park on Sunday afternoon, that's a seven-minute walk — a genuinely great way to end a Sacramento concert weekend.
